เมื่อเดือน ม.ค.53 คิมนัมกิล ได้มีโอกาสไปช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัยที่ Padang อินโดนีเซีย และเมื่อ 2 ก.ค.53 ก็มีการสัมภาษณ์นัมกิลเกี่ยวกับการเดินทางไปยังอินโดนีเซียที่ผ่านมา
และนี่คือ ส่วนหนึ่งในคำให้สัมภาษณ์ของคิมนัมกิลค่ะ
"On that day the children lost dreams and hope. I'm very worried to see them.The future of children "have dried up. So what about hope?. Instead of depression and frustration, I wish I could give hope.", he said.
