คิมนัมกิล ช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัยในอินโดนีเซียและเฮติ
นักแสดงหนุ่ม คิมนัมกิล หรือที่รู้จักกันดีในฐานะ “พีดัม” จากละครย้อนยุคทางช่อง MBC ซอนต้อก มหาราชินีสามแผ่นดิน ได้เซอร์ไพรส์แฟนๆของเค้าครั้งใหญ่ ด้วยความมีน้ำใจของเค้าที่ทำการช่วยเหลือผู้ที่กำลังเดือดร้อน ครั้งแรก เป็นที่รู้กันว่า คิมนัมกิล ไปถึงเกาะหนึ่งในอินโดนีเซียพร้อมกับอาสาสมัครคนอื่นๆจากเกาหลีใต้ เพื่อไปช่วยเหลือและส่งมอบสิ่งของ ต่อมา เขาก็ได้มีส่วนร่วมกับอาสาสมัครคนอื่นในการช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัยจากเหตุการณ์แผ่นดินไหวในเฮติ
เมื่อวันที่ 6 มกราคม 2553 คิมนัมกิล และผู้สนับสนุนในเกาหลีใต้ของ องค์กรเด็กนานาชาติ ได้ไปทำการช่วยเหลือคนในเกาะสุมาตรา หลังจากเกิดแผ่นดินไหว 7.6 ริคเตอร์ และคลื่นซึนามิ ที่ทำลายล้างเกาะแห่งนี้ หลายคนกลายเป็นคนเร่ร่อน สูญเสียทั้งบ้าน ข้าวของ และครอบครัว กระนั้นอาสาสมัครเหล่านี้ก็ได้แจกจ่ายอาหาร ของใช้ รวมถึงต้องการจะช่วยผู้ประสบภัยสร้างบ้าน และโรงเรียนสำหรับเด็กขึ้นมาใหม่ เรื่องราวทั้งหมด ได้รับการถ่ายทอดออกสถานีโทรทัศน์ MBC ทางรายการ “The World and I” เมื่อวันที่ 29 มกราคม 2553
และเมื่อวันที่ 11 มกราคม 2553 คิมนัมกิล ได้ไปทำภารกิจใหม่เพื่อช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัยจากเหตุการณ์แผ่นดินไหวที่ประเทศเฮติ นัมกิลกล่าวว่า "ผมรู้สึกว่าผมถูกลิขิตมาให้ช่วยผู้ประสบภัย" เขาบอกอีกว่า “เด็กพวกนี้แค่วิ่งเล่น กระโดดไปมาอย่างมีความสุขแค่หนึ่งวันก่อนแผ่นดินไหว แต่ขณะนี้พวกเขาไม่มีพ่อแม่ หรือแม้กระทั่งบ้านอีกแล้ว ผลกระทบจากภัยพิบัติทางธรรมชาติเช่นนี้ช่างน่ากลัวและยากที่จะรับมือ ผมรู้สึกเสียใจกับเด็กๆและหวังว่าผมจะสามารถช่วยพวกเขาทางใดทางหนึ่งเท่าที่ผมทำได้”
ระหว่างวันสุดท้ายก่อนที่คิมนัมกิลจะต้องกลับเกาหลี เขาแบกอาหาร และสัมภาระ ด้วยสองมือและไหล่ของเค้าเอง สถานีโทรทัศน์ MBC จะออกอากาศตอนพิเศษนี้ วันที่ 29 มกราคม 2553 โดยนัมกิลจะเป็นคนบรรยายตอนพิเศษนี้ด้วยตัวเค้าเอง ผู้ชมสามารถมีส่วนร่วมในการบริจาคเงินผ่านรายการโทรทัศน์ในครั้งนี้ด้วย
ไม่มีอะไรจะเม้น นอกจากเค้าช่างงามทั้งกายและใจจริงๆ พ่อเทพบุตรฟันกระต่าย

Kim Nam Gil “I’m destined to help people in need”!

Actor Kim Nam Gil, or best known as “Bidam” from his character in MBC historical drama “Queen Seondeok’ has truly surprised his fans with his big heart to help others in need. First, it was known that he went to an island in Indonesian with the volunteers from Korea to help out hands-on, then he took part to help with volunteers for the victims of Haiti earthquake.
On January 6, Kim Nam Gil and the sponsored members of Korea International Children Organization went on a mission to help people in the Sumatra island after the 7.6 earthquake and tsunami devastated this Indonesian island. Many people became homeless and lost all their belonging and families, thus those volunteers delivered some food supplies and volunteers to help them rebuild houses and schools for children. The story of his journey will be broadcast through MBC “The World and I” on January 29.
Then on January 11, Kim Nam Gil went back on another mission to help with the Haiti earthquake victims. The actor mentioned that he felt like he is destined to help with these victims. He told, “These children were just playing and jumping around happily the day before the earthquake, and now they lost their parents and their homes. The result of these kinds of natural disaster is scary and hard to comprehend. I really feel for these children and hope that I can help them in any way I could.”
And during the last day before he had to go back to Korea, Kim Nam Gil carried supplies with his own hands and shoulders. MBC will be airing this special episode, today January 29. Kim Nam Gil will narrate along this special broadcasting, and there’ll be a chance for viewers to help make monetary donations.

Nam Gil sshi, you need to be healthy in order to help more people. So please take good care of yourself. And please take lead role after you finish serving the military. It’ll be such a waste if an experienced actor like you avoiding leading role because of it’s hardship. I’ll be disappointed as a fan. Don’t disappoint your fans, araso?
